Next Gen ACS, a leading professional dog training facility in San Martin, California, is seeking experienced and passionate Dog Trainers to join our team. We specialize in Board & Train programs for Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, and German Shepherds, and pride ourselves on providing exceptional training services to our clients.


  • Conduct one-on-one training sessions with dogs, focusing on obedience, behavior modification, and specialized skills.

  • Assess and evaluate dogs' individual needs and develop personalized training plans accordingly.

  • Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and address behavioral issues effectively.

  • Maintain accurate records of each dog's progress and provide regular updates to clients.

  • Educate dog owners on training techniques and strategies to ensure the successful transfer of training skills to the owners.

  • Assist with group training classes as needed.

  • Stay up to date with the latest dog training methodologies and participate in continuing education opportunities.



  • Minimum of 2 years of professional dog training experience, preferably with Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, and/or German Shepherds.

  • Strong knowledge of dog behavior, learning theories, and positive reinforcement training methods.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and their dogs.

  • Ability to adapt training techniques to suit individual dogs' needs and learning styles.

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for dogs.

  • Certification or formal education in dog training is a plus.

Job Description: Kennel Technician

Next Gen ACS, a premier dog training facility in San Martin, California, is currently seeking dedicated and responsible Kennel Technicians to join our team. We offer top-quality boarding and care services for Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, and German Shepherds, ensuring the comfort and well-being of each dog under our supervision.


  • Maintain a clean and safe kennel environment by regularly cleaning kennels, feeding areas, and common spaces.

  • Monitor the health and well-being of dogs, promptly reporting any concerns to the management.

  • Administer medication, as directed by the veterinary staff or owners, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

  • Provide exercise and mental stimulation to dogs through playtime and interactive activities.

  • Assist with basic grooming tasks, including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming.

  • Maintain accurate records of each dog's care, feeding schedule, and behavior observations.

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols.



  • Previous experience working with dogs in a kennel or similar environment is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of dog behavior, including recognizing signs of stress, aggression, or illness.

  • Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently.
